Electrical Engineer (m/f/d)

 

Your professional inclination consists of...

  • ...Design, develop, and test electrical circuits and components
  • ...Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, mechanical, and clinical experts, to develop integrated solutions
  • ...Create and review detailed electrical schematics, PCB layouts, and wiring diagrams
  • ...Select and evaluate components to ensure reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with medical standards
  • ...Develop and implement test plans for electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards such as IEC 60601(ISO 13485, ISO 14971) Unit and Modul Testing 
  • ...Unit and module testing 
  • ...Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues, ensuring the safety and performance of medical devices
  • ...Ensure all designs meet industry standards and regulatory requirements, including FDA and ISO 13485
  • ...Participate in design reviews, risk assessments, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) to ensure robust and reliable designs
  • ...Document design processes, test results, and technical specifications for regulatory submissions
  • ... Stay current with emerging trends and technologies in electrical engineering and medical device development

 

Your profile consists:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification with a focus on electrical engineering
  • Proficiency in designing and developing analog and digital circuits, including microcontroller-based systems
  • Experience with PCB design and layout tools, such as Altium Designer or Eagle
  • Familiarity with medical device development standards, such as IEC 60601, ISO 13485, and FDA regulations

 

Those skills will most likely catch our attention:

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on patient safety and device reliability
  • Excellent communication (German and English) and teamwork abilities, with experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams
  • Experience with simulation and analysis tools, such as SPICE or MATLAB
  • Self-motivated and “can do” attitude, a willing to be flexible, with an ability to adapt to change 
  • Reliable and trustworthy
